Position Summary
Our Field Technicians install and maintain wireless Internet systems in homes and businesses throughout our network in North Texas. They are valued team members and play a critical role in the growth of our company by delivering positive customer experiences and being ambassadors of the element8 brand. You’ll drive a company vehicle, go into customer locations and represent element8 every day in the communities that we serve.
Our technician teams are currently expanding in the following markets: East and North Dallas/Gainesville/Denison
Responsibilities / Qualifications (include but not limited to):
- Install, test, troubleshoot and repair wireless internet equipment in customer locations.
- Ability to work in cramped locations and various climate/temperature conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry loads weighing a maximum of 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb, dig and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Perform work in a safe manner, following all OSHA and company guidelines.
- Must be able to speak and write the English language clearly, concisely, and communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner.
- Able to communicate and present technical information to non-technical audience in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
- Ability to stoop, bend, crouch kneel and twist, as well as reach above/below shoulders.
- Drive Company vehicles responsibly and safely.
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
